Dometic Portable Lithium Battery 

The Dometic PLB40 Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate battery is designed for powering portable coolboxes and other 12V appliances.

The lightweight and compact battery is engineered for use in harsh outdoor environments and is easy to carry thanks to its ergonomically designed stainless steel handle.

The integrated DC-DC charger offers three convenient ways to charge via a vehicle’s 12V socket, a solar panel or AC power.

The user-friendly, integrated LCD display provides important information on performance including the battery capacity, charging/discharging status and output status.

The Dometic PLB40 has powerful, integrated Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery cells, providing an energy supply of 512 Wh. This provides up to 53 hours of cooling time for a Dometic CFX3 45 coolbox on a single charge.

The battery’s integrated battery management system protects the PLB40 from under-voltage, over-voltage, short circuiting and overheating for optimum charge time, performance and storage. This system provides the battery with a life cycle up to five times longer than more commonly used lead-acid batteries.

This portable lithium iron phosphate battery pack is intended for use in camping applications. It comes with four outlets to power devices such as tablets, mobile phones, portable fridge/freezers etc.

The battery pack is suitable for

– the connection to 12V appliances with low power consumption (i.e small inverters up to 150W)

– the connection to a laptop with an additional 150W inverter connected to the 12V DC connection socket output

This battery pack is not intended

– for use as a starter battery for a vehicle

– to use two battery packs in parallel connection
